Berm Peak is missing one thing: Rocks! How I chose a property with no rocks to build mountain bike trails on is beyond me. I didn’t even know dirt with no rocks in it was even a thing. In any case, we’re taking matters into our own hands today, bringing in some rocks, and placing them by hand to build a rock garden! Rock gardens are a mainstay in mountain biking, and we’re really excited to finally have one here on Berm Peak. Enjoy the toil!

8:14 when I’m taking an unscheduled test
Anyone else die laughing when Seth was boutta throw his bike
I rode my first rock garden on Friday and rode my local trails for the first time 👍🏽
5:40 : Kevin’s test gave us a lot of useful information. Kevin’s information: aaaaaaeeeeeeghhhhhhhhhh
That looks so professional and good I wounldnt believe that they aren't pro trail builders
My dad bought some boulders in St Louis to build a pod with this around it, we moved before he could start on it so now there’s a house with two massive ass boulders that required a 39 year old to get help from a 7 year old and a 4 year old... I was the four year opd
H Gg
I didn't realize it until now even but though I've seen this video at least 10 times this was posted on my birthday
Why not tie a rope around the runaway rock and pull out with the gator?
Can u build a a massive kicker
for ms his video creation feels like I am watching a TV series. great narration and great videography thank you for keeping me distracted on this pandemic. I'm glad that one of his vid shows up in the recommended.
Seth throws the rock yeah I’m happy with it
8:12 I find that bounce back just so funny for some reason
He looks sooo mad when he couldnt do the rock garden
I live farther north in CT and it’s the complete opposite, we jump for joy when we find a good pocket of clay.
LOL! You guys are so lucky! I have my own backyard bike trail, and I have trouble getting RID of the rock gardens, and here you guys are building one! XD
2:59 sketchy INTENSIFY
Lowest 2 gears on the cassette: am I a joke to you?
Can we just appreciate how big the boulders and how hard he worked to move them
Can we just appreciate all the pain and sweat Seth has to endure just for our entertainment
on the climb
seth you hit your tire on that tree haha
in my head im thinking how you can be pro at carrying rocks
Yessir
In berm peak we are making it so there is no way around the rock garden so if new people want to ride they will probably die 😃
Are these 29 ers Seth ?
seth you need a polaris ranger 570
8:16 tree be like uno reverse card
Almost had a 90s BMX rage clip🤣👍💪
Near Pinecrest peak in Ca. these would be called 'baby heads' not a rock garden. I
I'm just a bike commuter, but watching you guys do amazing downhills just makes me want to sell my roadbike and buy an mtb, you guys rock! (literally) hahaha
I think that this is the only vid I’ve watched that felt like 3 seconds
So this is where all the rock you’ve been buying has gone! Bad ass man. 🤙🏽 The Dirt Merchant!
0:02 why does Seth sound so bored and tired
Yo thanks for solidifying my addiction to mtb ing
Are we just going to ignore he used an electric saw to massage his arm.
What brand boots does Seth use for trail building? I’m looking for something similar. Thanks keep up the great content!
This gave me PTSD from when I built trail with the Forrest service in Wyoming
On today's video how to get a hernia
Why am I grinning while watching this?
How is it Seth makes anything exiting like I would have never thought I would want to watch some one ride a rock garden
I spent hours and hours over the weekend building a descent on my property and removed more rocks than I could image. If you need any, come for a trip to Canada. LOL!!! But now I am thinking I could build a berm with them.
attachment or not im not putting a jigsaw on my arm
Seths literally hocked me up to watch him digging
When Seth raged and hit his bike at the tree and it came back so fast I could not stop laughing 😂
Just finished a similar project today
This is how they built the pyramids
I still haven't gotten used to berm peak instead of seth bike hacks. The name is just too iconic for me, but berm peak is a better name
2 of the best backyard bike trails are seth's and Backyard trail builds
2020: Paying for rocks 2021: Paying for air
The version of my rock garden on my local trails are mini boulders wich roll dow hill when you hit them.
Do you have to pay to those rocks?
Good god, this channel gets a lot of views...
We're do jou buy jour bikes.
5:06 😳😅👌
My back hurts just watching this
americans in my european vision: 2:25
Now to ride it with a cruiser
8:15 - 18:17
Step it up a notch and fill the area around the rock garden with pea gravel!
So fast.
One! Two! Threeaeaea! Bwaaa!
Dirt is better than sand
XD Oscars soooooooo funnyyyy
He’s lucky he gets tons of rain I get none
That Jigsaw attachment has a use besides what you may think
Hey Seth do you know how I can get this bike
Seth I think the rock garden would of gone better on knob deep rather than rodorooter but overall nice job
In 7:33 it looks like they’re going downhill the same at 7:49
5:05 Hmmmm -_-
Did seth say that the rocks were "rotting"?
How is nobody talking about 8:13
idk how many times I've heard that banjo rif now😂
Why do i sense a gator upgrade soon
Isn’t is fun watching Seth slowly lose it?
I think you have a blessing in disguise Seth, digging through rocks and tough soil stinks! Sent from Nevada
here in arizona we just have rock trails with the rare dirt garden.
hands down best channel on the tube!!!!
7:36 the angle from now and like a minute in is so weird, you're going up but it looks like you're going down lol
Lol you all are so funny and persistent
Hahah seth you bike like me i get so pissed and just wanna whip my bike im like wait you can't afford that relax
You should make a small wanna be creek crossing cuz u live in a rain forest
Speaking as someone who lives in a placed called "Rockville," consider yourself lucky there aren't more rocks at Berm Peak. Especially as much as you have to dig. It took me the better part of an afternoon just to plant a tree last week, and there's no such thing as "drilling down" in a precise spot. You dig, find a huge rock, and have no choice but to widen your hole to get around it. It's no fun.
I love seeing Seth get a bit angry when he trying to get up the rock garden hahah Not a hate comment love his vids
If u come to the Bay area u should look up carlmont dirt jumps. It's a pretty cool place
Anyone else die laughing when they tried to ride up the garden
Thumbs up just for the jigsaw massager tip.
Dude, you should give a free T to visitors that can climb that on their first try.
I love watching Seth transform the property. It was a serendipitous situation that he had completed the move to the new place and when the lockdown occurred he had the perfect opportunity to hole-up with Alex and build. But I feel that WE are the true beneficiaries. So many you-tubers have scaled-back their production. Thank you, Seth, for forging on!
Dont know why but your Work looks so satisfying
When the dirt washes away it will be even jankyer.
My man made a massage therapy gun out of a jig saw.... Liked, subbed, little bell clicked, what else can I do!?
I've had similar muscle pains, and heat tends to help soothe as well, for anyone who has them
Eat a pickle
I love the rage during the attempt to climb the rock garden!
You could call it rock bottom
Bra
A guy who collects and sells rocks to people is the exact definition of capitalism 🤣
It's so satisfying to see the gator's truck bed go up and down
An oval chainring would do the job for climbing that rock garden
